Cher La-Bas Texas Cajun Band in San Antonio Texas
We are CHER LA-BAS Texas Cajun Band; Shah Lah Bah, phonetically; My Baby’s Over There, in English. We are from San Antonio, and we really enjoy playing Cajun music for the folks here in South Texas.
We are a full-fledged, authentic, dance-style, Louisiana-inspired Cajun band, and can play for any Mardi Gras, Cajun Festival, Crawfish Boil, Shrimp Boil, Fish Fry, Anniversary, Wedding, Gumbo Cook-Off, Barbecue, Bachelor or Bachelorette party, or just any General Good Time.
We play a driving Cajun rhythm, with Chanky Chank Cajun accordion, fiddle, bass guitar, drum, rhythm guitar, rub-board, and Cajun French vocals. We can even throw in a little Old-Time Texas Country or 50’s- 60’s Swamp Pop. We can keep folks up and dancing and drinking for the entire evening.
Our rates are very reasonable. We are just a group of good old boys who like to make music, and we do a good job of it.
